You are at a higher risk of heart disease if you don’t sleep well:
The duration of your sleep has many effects on your health condition. Many studies have shown that people with heart diseases said that they did not get enough sleep. An average adult needs to have at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep.
Increased risk to get diabetes:
When your body does not get enough rest, the blood sugar in your body gets affected. Most youngsters who are not getting enough rest have symptoms of prediabetes. You might be a healthy adult but if you sleep less than 6 hours a day you are prone to have diabetes at a later stage in life.
You are likely to be more depressed:
Poor sleep patterns can make you more depressed. Almost 90% of the people who are depressed complain about not getting enough rest. Reduced sleep can even increase your risk of suicide.
